The incumbent president AY 2009-2010 is from the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP, DRES Director Dr. Angelica M. Baylon with MAAP President VADM Eduardo Ma R. Santos, AFP (Ret) as PAEPI Honorary Adviser). PAEPI is founded by the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) in 1990.
