The faculty of the Academy consists of licensed merchant marine officers and highly qualified instructors for general education subjects, a number of them with doctoral and masters degrees.
 
  • All Faculty shall meet CHED and STCW standards
  • Faculty to student ratio is 1:25
  • All faculty shall submit a prescribed number of course modules, compendium, research paper or books as prescribed by the Faculty manual to retain his/her employment at MAAP or for promotion
